When I styled my iftar table at the beginning of the month, I knew that Eid table would have to be different and more festive but keeping the current situation in mind, the trick was to use pieces that I already had at home and used them to spruce of the decor to create the perfect vibe for Eid. When shopping for home, it is important to invest in pieces or choose pieces that you can use over and over again to create decor that doesn’t have you running to the stores for every occasion. Look for colours that go with your home or are perfect for dinner parties. Invest in good quality flower arrangements, get a couple of statement pieces and of course one can have as many candles as one likes. This is definitely something that can work when you plan on hosting a dinner party. White & gold has been my ultimate love for as long as I can remember. Adding a hint of gold to your white decor can definitely take the styling up a notch. Light up some candles for that dreamy, serene and refreshing feel. White flowers can never go wrong when it comes to adding a romantic touch to your decor. The trick is not to over do it while creating the perfect balance and harmony. Eid is important to us but it’s also important to make the most of it by staying home and creating an environment that we love. So I picked up my favourite pieces from home and styled the Eid table for my family.
